This niche application commercial glass de-glazer is a long neck 'L' shaped blade with a 2" long bent leg that tapers to a point. This blade is designed for deep reaching into the perimeter gaps around the window edges of commercial building 'curtain wall' glass panels to facilitate separation from the bonding sealants.
Having double sharpened knife edges on both sides from the 90° bend to the tip, this blade also utilizes edge serrations on one side for aggressive sealant removal.
This robust long necked blade is only recommended for use with high torque multi-tool machines operating with sufficient power amperage.
Please Note: This blade is NOT for automobile windshield removal applications. Use only for commercial glass panel de-glazing situations where the bonding sealants are accessible by this blade's profile.
WARNING: Please take note: This extra long cutter is only recommended for experienced multi-tool users. Longer blades put higher working loads on your multi-tool. Please listen to your machine when using this cutter to avoid motor stalls or burnout failure.
